RCB VS RR Post Match Updates:
Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Sunday to move to 4th in the points table.
It was not a happy homecoming for the Bangalore team this season as they suffered a huge defeat, so in tomorrow’s match, Phil Salt’s 65 runs and King Kohli’s 62, along with a 92-run partnership at 8.4 overs, ensured the victory of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team.
Simply put, the one who wins the powerplay will win the match, even if they go up to 65 runs without a wicket, the match saw many catches missed, which proved to be a costly one for the Rajasthan Royals.
The Rajasthan Royals’ luck was not very good yesterday because Yash Jaiswal scored 75 runs in 47 balls and no one else could make a very good partnership. But on the other hand, Phil Salt played his natural game, that is, played aggressively and made a good partnership with Virat Kohli, which helped Royal Challengers Bangalore win the match very easily.
Right after Salt was dismissed, Virat Kohli hit a six off Hasaranga and reached his half-century in 32 balls. Impact player Devdoot Padikkal was not out on 40 runs, and Virat Kohli stayed with him till the end to win.
Yesterday, the Rajasthan Royals’ opening pair was not effective, which had an impact on the entire game. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson played a very slow game, due to which the Rajasthan Royals’ score did not go beyond 173. Jaiswal was out for 75 runs, followed by Riyan Parag, who scored 30 runs in 22 balls, but the partnership between Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel was only 55 runs.
Dhruv Jurel was unbeaten on 35 runs but regained his strength towards the end and scored 47 runs in the last five overs, but by then, it was too late.
