Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and decided to bowl. Spinner Sunil Narine took 3 wickets for 13 runs while Harshit Rana and Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets each. Nothing went well for CSK, batting or bowling. CSK managed to score 9 for 4,6 in the entire match.
