Kesari Chapter 2 is going to be the most popular film in Indian history for one reason: some films made with sensitive information about Indian history have already earned a net income of 40 crores in 5 days.
Akshay Kumar plays the role of C. Sankaran Nair, R. Madhavan plays the role of Advocate Adv. Neville McKinley and Ananya Panday play the role of Diljit Gill, which is truly a remarkable performance. Especially R. Madhavan’s role gets better after the intermission.
It is reported that 150 crore rupees were spent on making Kesari Chapter 2, out of which only 56 crore rupees have been earned in 5 days, but it is beating Salman Khan’s Sikander’s film at the box office.

It has earned Rs 16 crore outside India and Rs 40.6 crore in India, and has earned between Rs 54 crore and Rs 56 crore till Tuesday. It is still the sixth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, with a mere Rs 1.39 crore needed to enter the top five. Kesari Chapter 2 is showing a growth trend, with its box office collections jumping 12% on its fifth day.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 has made its mark at the box office by crossing the Rs 55 crore mark, surpassing Shahid Kapoor’s Deva.
