On the first day of the release of Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2 The Rule, a woman named M. Revathi, who is 39 years old, and a 9-year-old Srithaj were trampled to death. On December 13, 2024, Allu Arjun was arrested by the police in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, but the very next day, i.e. on December 14, 2024, Allu Arjun was granted interim bail for 4 weeks, according to an NDTV report, Paban Kalyan spoke at Mangalagiri.

“The law is equal for all and I don’t blame the police in this incident, they did what they did keeping public safety in mind, and the theater staff and a half should have informed Allu Arjun about any kind of problem resolution. And after this incident, it would have been better if Allu Arjun or someone on his behalf had met the victim’s friend, I am deeply saddened by this incident, they have turned what they have already lost into a bigger tragedy”
He further said “We are all here to support the family. There is a clear lack of humanity here due to various mistakes, everyone should have gone to Revathi’s house and consoled her family, but due to not doing so, people’s anger has arisen, and Allu Arjun feels pain due to this incident but it is not right to blame Allu Arjun alone.”
